I am Ellie. Wife. Mother to 3 little people. Crafter. I guess I’ve always enjoyed crafty things, but it wasn’t until a friend encouraged me to open an etsy store that I learned I could actually make money doing something I love! What a concept!

I also discovered I really, really like felt. And bright colors. And, just things that are happy and fun. And, so, with a box of felt and a cutting machine, my little etsy store “A Felt Affair” was born. I have since found much delight in making garlands and bunting, pinwheels, cupcake toppers and wrappers and most recently, chevron letters!

I have enjoyed being featured on Very Jane and Groopdealz several times. I’ve made so many garlands, I think I could do it in my sleep. My crowning accomplishment thus far? Having a garland featured in the upcoming Halloween edition of Taste of Home!
