Refrigerators look so boring without beautiful magnets to dress them up. These magnets comprised of (reproduced) vintage images of ballerinas are perfect options. They take a bit of effort to make, but they’re worth it to change the look of your fridge.
What you’ll need:
- Vintage images of ballerinas
- Laminator
- Laminator plastic sleeves
- Scissors
- Cardstock
- Self-adhesive magnets
Step 1. Choose vintage images of ballerinas. They don’t have to be original images. I chose mine from a sheet of reproduction photos.
Step 2. Cut the image to the size you want.
Step 3. Attach the image to a piece of white cardstock, then trim it to size.
Step 4. Place the image in a laminator sheet, then place it in the laminator sealed side first. While it’s going through, hold the end tight so it goes through evenly and will decrease the chances of bubbles.
Step 5. Trim the laminator sheet so only a thin clear border remains around the image.
Step 6. Attach a self-adhesive magnet to the back. Trim the magnet first if necessary.
