I work in a warehouse in the out bound shipping department (when I’m not loading trailers I’m packing orders). So, I usually go hide in the bathroom because it is usually the coolest place in the summer, or I walk around and make it look like I’m cleaning up the trash and placings things back in their assigned areas.

While some times are slow at a flower shop, I tend to crochet a blanket or quick scarf for a gift. I’m sure that if my boss found that I do this she would think of better things for me to be doing related to flowers! I also have a stash of pretty paper (that the flowers are packed in) that i use for some decoupage! YAY crafts!
Stephanie Zoller :

“Work” for me is being a housewife. What I’m doing right now is my favorite time waster—looking at craft sites for ideas. But, ladies, let’s face it. It’s NOT a waste of time; it’s an education. We are better people for having visited this site and others. Right?
Catherine :
Date: July 6, 2012 @ 8:10 AM

Retired now, but when I worked for the State of New York, my daughter worked in another department, so we would talk as we worked–phone logs didn’t show interdepartmental calls so we never got caught. It really helped boring work go fast!
