If you’ve ever tried to attach tissue paper to cardstock, you know how difficult it can be to not screw it up. It’s a good thing American Crafts has taken care of that little annoyance with their Ruffle Sun Kissed Paper. The paper – along with a few other items – came in handy when I wanted to create a gift tag I had in mind to make for a camera-loving relative.
What you’ll need:
- American Crafts Dear Lizzy Ruffle Sun Kissed Paper
- American Crafts Elements Brads Dear Lizzy Neapolitan Fabric Epoxy
- Brown Ink Pad
- American Crafts Stamps Clear Dear Lizzy Neapolitan Camera
- Small Hole punch
- Ribbon
- Scissors
Step 1: Cut out a section from the Ruffle Sun Kissed Paper to create a gift tag that’s the size you desire. Since the tissue paper is already conveniently attached to sturdy white paper, you don’t have to attach it to cardstock.
Step 2: Punch a small hole in the center of the tag, then put the camera brad through and fold the metal back.
Step 3: Press the smile stamp onto a brown ink pad and make sure that it’s thoroughly covered in ink.
Step 4: Press the stamp to the tag right under the camera brad.
Step 5: Punch a small hole at the top of the tag.
Step 6: Attach a matching ribbon through the top hole.
