    Oregon’s first capitol was Oregon City…but it’s been Salem…since the mid 1800′s (1845)

    Salem! I have never been to Oregon, but always wanted to go. Lived in Idaho for 2 years, and visited Seattle;both a ways from southeastern Colorado!

    I actually remember this from school! Oregon City was originally the capitol, then Salem was…and is the capitol of Oregon.
