I carry a big purse so that my camera can go with me at all times! You just never know when you will have the opportunity for that perfect photo to scrap! I’ve been known to pull over to the side of the road just to get a certain shot of a building, a tree, or whatever :-)

My crafting confession is that while I’m crafting the dining room table is off limits to the family, no homework, no dinner, no card games and I’m frantically putting everything away before guests arrive. :)

I always carry a large purse, with a empty Mini scrapbook in, glue stick, and pot of embellishments. And my camera. If were out for the day, i can take the photos, go to the shop and print them off instantly, then on the train on the way home, start or plan the scrapbook!!! I would be lost without anything crafty on me!

My crafting confession is that when I see new things on the market, I can’t wait to try them. Like these embossing dies! Really, I was looking at them 2 days ago and thought it would be fun to try them out. If its new, it’s in my shopping cart!

I like mod podge, the smell, the texture…even how it sticks to my fingers. I think it takes me back to kindergarten and having to pull off the stuck glue on my fingers…sorry if that grossed you out. :)

  11. Angie Ramos-Pino :

    Date: March 18, 2011 @ 5:52 AM

My craft confession: I took over the WHOLE hall closet to store all the “arts & craps” as my kids call it, PLUS I took over the sunroom as my scraproom. I hoard all sorts of trikets & game pieces, everything really because “you never know when you’re going to need this for a craft or SCHOOL project.” I crack myself up.

My craft confession is that those 40% off coupons cost me a lot of money!

If I go into the store with my coupon and the item I want is already on sale, then I have to find something else NOT on sale to use my coupon on.

    Two confessions:

    1. I realized last night i have NO scalloped Nesties! They were vital to a sketch I wanted to complete.

    2. I have crafting ADHD. I get all excited, buy a bunch of supplies and books, maybe even try it, but haven’t stuck with everything or fully know how to do it (paper quilling? needle felting?). Papercrafts is one I’ve gone the most crazy over, but I’m definitely sticking with it. :)

I have a paper addiction. If there is a stack on clearance, need it or not, it goes home with me. And, to further this addiction, my best scrap pal is just as addicted, so if either of us finds a deal, then two are always purchased. We even went on a multi-state scrap supply “tour” in the fall and hit shops in four states, only to return with a large, undisclosed amount of paper we “needed” !!

Spellbinders offer the ability to be very creative and add beauty to cards. I love them!

My confession is that I buy things that I “have to have” and then can’t bring myself to use them cause then I won’t have it left! I know, I think I am a craftaholic! :-)

My craft confession is…I sent my son to college so I could use his bedroom for craft storage. (It is a borrowed confession…but true!) Now, when he does come home, I do make a path so he can at least get to his bed.LOL

I love to make cards. I have so many rubber stamps that I don’t know what I have. I’m always following stamping blogs for card sketches so that I’ll have ideas. I make 72 cards for Christmas, not to mention Valentines, Easter, Halloween, Birthdays, and Anniversaries. My husband says I’ll use any excuse to make a card.

I spend more time looking for ideas online, buying books, tearing articles out of magazines, and buying supplies than I actually spend doing the crafts. I’m a dreamer more than a doer. Alas, today I actually spend HOURS on a card idea, because it kept going wrong. I redid it more times that I can count and then finally walked away from it in disgust. And here I am! Dreaming away…. Now if I could just win this one prize, everything would work out perfectly next time I sit down to make a card.

Alas, today I actually spend HOURS on a card idea, because it kept going wrong. I redid it more times that I can count and then finally walked away from it in disgust. And here I am! On line…. Now if I could just win this one prize, everything would work out perfectly next time I sit down to make a card. And to be honest…I hoard. And I hate using the pretty stuff. And I have to use the 40% coupons, need it or not. And I haunt the clearance aisles. And I hide my purchases from my hubby. And I took over my son’s bedroom now that he’s in college. Pretty much the same as everybody else! This week’s comments really cracked me up. We’re all in this together!

My latest crafting confession–I started crocheting an afghan for my nephew before Christmas but didn’t get much done. Since then, I have carried with me on three seperate trips but didn’t even pull it out of the bag. I really need to get to working on that!!!

I carry 2 small 2-ring binders in my large purse so I can keep track of the inks, copix pens, spellbinder dies etc that I have so I’m not duplicating when I go into a crafy store.

My favorite thing about crafting is buying supplies! I have taken over one whole bedroom and the dining room with all my stuff :) And looking to buy more!
