Making the most out of Clear Stamps

I am a huge fan of clear stamps!  I love bending them on my clear acrylic blocks to achieve an unexpected look when it’s stamped.  I also love layering stamped images.  Every time I create, I take a moment to visualize each image for what it’s not intended and I am often surprised to find fresh ways to use my stamps.  You might be shocked to see how creative you can be if you open your mind.  When you sit down to brainstorm, make sure to have a notebook on hand in case your imagination goes wild and you aren’t able to create each and every idea at that moment.

I combined my two favorite clear stamping techniques, layering and bending, to achieve a unique look on this card.

And here’s how I created this full tree:

1. Start by bending the tree in one direction, ink and stamp onto paper.

2. Bend the stamp in the opposite direction and stamp directly over the base image

3. Place the tree straight and tall on your clear acrylic block and stamp it in the center of the 2 curved stamped images. Make sure to overlap the tree trunks.

CreateForLess offers a large array of clear stamps. Take a peek and imagine the possibilities of each image.  Don’t limit yourself to what’s obvious and have fun creating!
