My analytical side tells me I should bring multipurpose items.
1. A big bolt of cloth. It could be used for clothing, shelter, bandages.
2. A good, sharp pair of scissors to use in place of a knife.
3. Some very strong yarn to use as fishing line, knitting a net for fishing, etc.

A knife, to cut natural materials for crafting. A needle, to sew the materials together using some kinda natural fiber. Chocolate. Hey, if I’m stuck on a deserted island, I’ll need it to survive.

Although I am also a papercrafter, I think for a deserted island I’d have to go the cross-stitch route: fabric, needles, thread. I’ll have to cut my threads on a sharp rock and make up my own designs, I guess

Wow that’s a tough one…only 3…well a bolt to bright wild colored fabric, so I can make cloths and shelter & it can be seen by my rescue team…my very large Gingher scissors and this tote of course with all the goodies I can pack in it to document my memories on the island!

If I were to be stranded on a desert island, I would bring a case of various yarns, a case of various crochet hooks and knitting needles, and my laptop with unlimited battery power, which is loaded with tons of different crochet and knitting patterns that I don’t have enough time to make.

Ok, don’t know how long I am stranded for so I suppose it would have to be “material” for making a shelter, clothing, and a signal flag. A “knife” for cutting food, said material, and protection. And “matches” to light fires to cook with and keep warm and to signal at night…. Now if I am stranded with all the comforts of home and don’t have to hunt or build a shelter…then I am bringing, “computer, (this way I can order whatever I like, and find all kinds of info on things to make), ink pen, and paper.”

I love that scrapbook tool tote! If stranded the 3 things I would have to would be Mod Podge, a designer paper pad and scissors. I would cut the paper pieces I want and use the Mod Podge on
a whole sheet of the designer paper then when I was rescued from the deserted island I would then Mod Podge the whole sheets of the designer paper that have the paper pieces attached to a canvas and add embellishments.
