Anxious to actually FINISH my first quilt–I have a couple of tops done, but still haven’t tackled the finishing part yet!

I would like to try and tackle my own homemade greeting cards. I start them, but never have enough creativity left to finish them, or glue for that matter.

I’m still just learning, so almost anything is new to me (and fun and interesting to try). At the moment I’m trying to find time to try out putting the quilting on a pillow sampler.

I’ve never scrapbooked, but I think the hubby would kill me if I started another hobby. 🙂

Also, I have yet to learn how to properly suspend office supplies in Jell-O, which I do believe qualifies as an art/craft

I have been looking forward to trying some cake decorating this summer. Is that considered a technique? I am really just looking forward to eating cake.

I want to learn how to do Free Motion Quilting on my home sewing machine. I am on a fixed income and would love some day to have one of those big quilting machines, bt I know it’s just a dream and will never come true, so I want to learn to do it myself at home. Who knows, I might actually get good at it!! lol
    Thanxs,

My favorite project was making a banner for the 1980 Olympics in Lake Placid NY. Muy daughter won a poster contest and I had to made her poster into a banner to hang in the Olymipc’s ice rink.
took me forever to make as it was very large lots of pieces and it was sateen.

I would do it again today

I want to try glitter embossing or flocking for Christmas cards this year. Martha Stewart has some easy starter kits and I can’t wait to get my hands on them!
