My favorite rainy day activity is sitting on my couch with a fresh cup of coffee looking through magazines for recipes and/or good sayings in advertisements. I make my own personal cook books out of the recipes, and use the quotes in modge podge craftsy ideas and scrapbook layouts.

I haven’t scrapbooked yet, but this is something new on my mind, and would be great to do on a rainy day; while drinking a cup of green tea. Another idea would be to bake cookies and have my girls decorate them. I actually read on a rainy day. I recently started blogging so that would be another one for me.

I *really* need to get back into scrapbooking. I’m sorely behind. Now that everything is digital, I am considering doing it all that way.

I love inside recess days. We play with the legos and all of the fun brain games that I pull out of the box labeled “rainy day recess games.” It is an old grungy box that is in some serious need of a crafty makeover.
